[attr="class","samjermain"]Moonlight fell in long slivers through breaks in the stone above as Memo pulled himself up to a ledge, pressing deeper into the cave systems. A large cavern with a waterfall roared behind him, sound amplified, filling the space between the rocks with muffled noise, like distant shouting. If he listened closely he could hear language in the murmuring.

Sombra’s rings bathed the path ahead in a soft yellow light. She charted the path, Magia perched upon her head, hoping to use the power of her wish to find a Tera Stone and claim the power within. Bando brought up the rear, the Primape’s fur a rough rasp against the stone walls.

Sombra jumped across a small gap and Memo followed, Magia catching him with a gentle tug of psychic energy to aid his passing. Bando followed quickly behind, bridging the distance easily.

The fossil flyer soared overhead, bringing Derek and Jonesy to meet with their partner at the top of a ledge. The trainer notices their pokemon had already begun the search, opting to simply follow them instead of sending something out to try and accomplish the same.

"Names Derek, by the way."

Having possessed one of these special orbs, he felt foolish for leaving it back home. Oh well. There was plenty of it to go around. Chances were they would run into something soon.

"You have any experience with this stuff?" Somehow the ex-gym leader couldn't say he had. For whatever reason he tucked the tera orb away after purchase, leaving it to rot like some useless relic. And yet, it was anything but...

“Derek,” he greets, with a smile and a nod. “I’m Memo. And not really.” He runs a hand through his hair, eyes drifting to gaze into the middle ground. “I was at Littleroot when… yeah.” He spent most of the fight only partially conscious or fully unconscious.

A haunting call echoed from up ahead-- Raya.

“I think they found something,” he said, hurrying on. Down a small slope there was a great, crescent-shaped cavern…

...and at its center a glimmering, orange, crystal pile.
